WHAT’S THE KEY TO CONSISTENT SALES?

I’ll set the scene: you’re laying on the couch binging Love Island when your laptop lights up with a notification.

“Yes, a new inquiry!” You think as you jump to open your email & read the application.

Welp. Their vague answers imply communication over the next few weeks will be iffy & they’re already looking to negotiate your work scope to a lower price.

It’s not the ideal project, but it’s something, right?

Wrong! What if I told you, you don’t have to stay on the revenue roller-coaster & feel guilted into taking every less-than-ideal client?

SELL OFTEN

If you think your community is getting tired of hearing from you, you’re probably doing it right.

I try to promote one thing every day that might interest a new lead. It’s not always direct to sale, but it’s always to something of value. This includes freebies or blog posts as well as my inquiry form & shop items.

If selling feels gross to you, try to think of promo as a way of helping people out. When done from a place of authenticity (as it always should be), that’s really what you’re doing after all. If you needed help with something & tried looking for it, wouldn’t you want to easily know how to get it?

Your community is in need of support or guidance & you’re in the incredible position of being able to provide it for them! Don’t hold back.

SELL HOLISTICALLY

When you’re sharing an offer, don’t just focus on a single platform.

Unless you’re okay with leaving money on the table, only sharing to your Instagram will dramatically reduce the potential eyes on your services. That’s why I suggest selling in at least three different spaces.

The most likely places to get your sales to convert? Social media, free long-form content (like this blog) & email.

SELL CONFIDENTLY

When your community sees that you trust in yourself, they’ll naturally trust you too.

This confidence comes easy when you have an aligned brand strategy to back you up.

If you never have to question your messaging, your offer suite, or your visuals, everything else falls into place.
